MAF Membership - What’s in it for me?

RECRUITING AND TRAINING NEW MASONS IS A TOP PRIORITY OF MAF!

Masonry apprenticeship is for the individuals who pride themselves in their artistic abilities and who wish to earn a good living while performing their craft in the healthy out of doors.

MAF has developed state certified masonry apprenticeship standards with participating programs all around the states. In an earn-while-you-learn structure, the apprentice learns on the job as well as in the classroom. The apprenticeship period may be shortened by as much as 1.5 years if the candidate has some experience.

Completion of the apprenticeship assures the graduate mason that he/she has the knowledge to earn a good living anywhere in the world.

For It’s Members:

The Masonry Association of Florida, Inc. offers it’s members and opportunity to periodically meet others in the masonry industry in a social atmosphere to share ideas on how to improve the masonry industry.

The monthly educational meetings held by the individual chapters are dedicated to keeping the masonry contractors, regardless of size or work type, aware of the latest information available to the industry.

Members have a direct contact with, and influence in, local, state, and national codes and standards writing organizations through MAF’s staff and it’s other members.

The Masonry Hotline is available to all it’s members for assistance in masonry related problems.

Members receive a free subscription to the Magazine of Masonry Construction as an added benefit.
